Great location, and there's parking nearby, which is super convenient. Plus, it's close to a train station, making it easy to get around 🚆.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful plus - for travellers who do not speak much Spanish - an additional bonus was that she speaks good English. It is located in the newer part of town, but there is a regular bus service into the old town. If you are fit (it's an uphill walk!), you can also walk to the old town in 20 minutes. The price was good as it included a buffet breakfast.
As there is no air conditioning, it would not be advisable to stay here during the hottest months, though they do provide fans! It was fine at the beginning of September though. The location is central, but the directions on the website are out of date, as there is a new train station about 4k outside Cuenca. We got a shock when the train stopped and we appeared to be in the middle of nowhere! There is a regular bus service from there to the bus station (every 20 minutes), and the bus driver then gave us directions to our hotel when we showed him the map we had printed off.

Parking at the railway station just 5 minutes walk and bus stop to go up to the historic city near the hotel door and cost just 70 cents. The staff provided a city map and told us the places of interest and also showed video photos on a TV screen. Although on the main street, rooms were very clean and comfortable and double glazed so no traffic noise, Very pleased to recomend this hotel.
